The Pump House is available to hire for celebratory functions, corporate events and wedding receptions. We pride ourselves in providing a unique experience with delicious food, specialising in bespoke weddings and formal dinner parties. It is possible to have exclusive use of the whole building, mezzanine restaurant or an area of the ground floor depending on the size of the party and your requirements. All parties of any size are welcome. We are proudly independent and being led by Chef Toby Gritten means that we can tailor our menus and specifications to suit your event.
Our mezzanine restaurant can seat a maximum of 66 guests for a sit down dinner.The restaurant measures 9.5m x 7.5m has exposed natural stone & wooden beams.
Events that require seating for more can be split between our ground floor dining area and the mezzanine restaurant.
Marquees can also be hired in the summer months for additional seating.

The Pump House is the perfect location for a truly ‘Bristol’ wedding. Situated on the waters edge it only seems natural to arrive by boat on the famous Tower Belle after a leisurely cruise from the registry office in Bristol city centre. The Pump House can provide you with fizz and canapés for your boat trip or arrival at the venue. After your welcome drinks migrate upstairs to our charming mezzanine restaurant for a relaxed afternoon of delicious food and wine, enjoying a bespoke 3 course meal or banquet style feast designed between you and our head chef, Toby. Let our passionate and attentive staff make you feel at ease. Greet your evening guests downstairs and dance the night away in our main bar area. Our knowledgeable bar staff will keep your guests busy with our range of over 650 gins and arrange you a taxi for the ride home.

Our expectations were far exceeded. It didn’t stop there, the bar staff made sure our evening guests, were never waiting long for a drink! The atmosphere for the party was amazing, we ended our night with a huge feeling of success that we had not only had an amazing day ourselves, but had given all our guests a day to remember.’
